It might be hard to believe, but it’s been almost a month since our last Fantastic Foursome. (For those who are new to the GMC, that’s the completely silly name I’ve given to a post that features four different versions of a song and then asks for your vote.)
This time around it’s an old standard written by Victor Young and Edward Heyman for the 1952 movie, One Minute To Zero. Doris Day had a big hit with the song soon after, and it has been recorded by countless others through the years. Below the video are four of the most popular. Which version of “When I Fall In Love” do you like best?
Which is your favorite?
Nat King Cole – Doris Day – Johnny Mathis – Lettermen
