Veterans of the GMC might recall that posts featuring slideshows — usually filled with pictures of oddities — used to show up fairly often. I’m not sure why we’ve neglected them for so long, but I’m happy to report that they’re back!
Art takes a lot of different forms and some can be unusual and even a little startling to view, like the images below. Very detailed and colorful tattoos have been popular for quite some time, but the latest thing is the popularity of amazingly realistic 3-D tattoos. You might find some of the examples a little disturbing, but just remember that no matter how realistic they are, they’re just tattoos. All the apparent shadows, depth, and realism are just the result of some truly talented and imaginative tattoo artists — and the teeth-gritting pain threshold of the people who endured the process.

Wow… those are amazing. I haven’t ever seen tattoos like that before. Ha, I’m not sure those spider tattoos were a wise choice when it comes to the ladies if you know what I mean! 🙂
Personally, I hate spiders. Creeps me out just to see the pictures – I wouldn’t want to stand next to one of them.
Crazy, man, crazy….
