In looking back over various Thanksgiving posts through the years, I see that I’ve included everything from a nostalgic family tale to a slideshow of painted turkey feathers. But one thing I haven’t done is feature pictures from my favorite artist, Norman Rockwell. Although he was known for all kinds of heart-warming illustrations, he was especially fond of those depicting Thanksgiving scenes. Many of them featured themes that were relevant during the war years, but most were timeless.
(As always, remember that you can mouse over the slideshow to access the controls to stop and view pictures at your own speed.)
My, Wonderful, Its been a long time sense I’ve looked at Normans pictures. Thanks
Have a swell turkey day too.

Glad you liked it. I think it’s a real shame that ‘sophisticated’ art experts always looked down their noses at Norman Rockwell.
