Memorial Day Arrives Again

It seems like just yesterday that I was posting a piece with the decidedly awkward title of Memories Of Memorial Day, but it was actually a year ago. The months seem to go by so quickly these days that I can almost feel the breeze from the flipping calendar pages.

But Memorial Day is once again upon us, and even though I have to admit that I’m sort of taking the weekend off (after all, it is a holiday) I still want to share some good music in memory of all those we’ve lost.

So here’s the same song I featured last year but performed by a different jazz master, followed by a video for Elvis fans. (Later: video no longer available.)
